DORA BROOKS
Dora Brooks (b.1996) is a multidisciplinary artist trained in both neuroscience and fine art. She holds an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from University College London, where she studied attention, perception, and memory, and has recently trained in Classical Drawing at Grand Central Atelier in New York.
Her current work focuses on how images capture and hold attention. Through small, quiet drawings, she explores the mechanics of noticing: how attention is sparked, sustained, and allowed to drift. Each image aims to create a calm, deliberate pause within an overstimulated world, functioning as a steady point of focus that invites the viewer into a slower, more intentional way of seeing.
