sebastian forman

Sebastian Forman is currently studying Fine Art at Camberwell University. His abstract and geometric style is mainly influenced by British Constructivism, with Barbara Hepworth and Victor Pasmore’s works as key sources of inspiration. His works illustrate an exploration of the different forms of balance and negative space through the use of shape and form. His current works are a study of the concept of duality and balance, left to the viewer’s interpretation. Duality, according to Forman, is a phenomenon universal to human encounters with everyday experiences and emotions; balance, whether symmetrical or asymmetrical, is a manifestation of a given duality. The artist works in the mediums of acrylics, collages, photography and sculpture.
