PHILIPPA RICHARDSON

Philippa is an artist specializing in contemporary British seascapes, landscapes and still life. Many of her paintings depict the Surrey and Hampshire countrysides near to home, as well as the rugged coastlines of Cornwall, and Isles of Scilly. Her style is bold, instinctive, and invigorating, capturing the character and immediacy of life. 

Philippa graduated from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in 1997, before beginning her career as a professional artist. She has developed her skill and technique by studying regularly at the Heatherley School of Fine Art in London, and the Newlyn Art School in Cornwall.
