KATE SCHURICHT

Kate Schuricht is an established British ceramic artist and a selected member of the The Craft Potters Association.

She studied Three-Dimensional Design at the University of Brighton, graduating in 1996. After an International ceramic residency in Japan, Kate set up her first studio in London. She has completed commissions for private and public collections, including British Airways, the British Embassy in St Petersburg, Craftspace and Cowley Manor, with a major show at Blackwell in Cumbria.

Her largest artwork to date was commissioned by the Director of the Ibaraki Museum in Japan and comprised 6 installations of over 150 pieces which were presented at the Cheongyu International Craft Biennale in Korea.

Kate is also a selected member of the Craft Potters Association, The Rye Society of Artists and The Sussex Guild. Her ceramics are collected worldwide and feature in a wide range of printed publications. She also runs masterclasses and one-to-one workshops from her current studio on the Kent and East Sussex border.
